Banksy:Genius or Vandal? The renowned Exhibition, which was presented with unprecedented success in 15 cities around the world, comes to Brussels! Dedicated to the famous and enigmatic British artist, the exhibit lets visitors dive into the controversial artistic universe of the most influential creator of present time and features more than 80 genuine, authenticated artworks by Banksy from private European collections.

Multisensory Artistic Immersion

An impressive multimedia installation, created especially for this exhibition, will welcome visitors, revealing clues of the mystery artist and highlighting his most important pieces - framing his unusual career wrapped in controversy. In addition to the largest collection of artworks anywhere by Banksy, the exhibition presents art installations, photos and videos showing street works by Banksy, which are currently mostly lost, in what was their original organic environment. Moreover, to give you a deeper and more immersive experience, the tour includes a free audio-guide with more details about the exhibition accessible through an app on your phone.

This exhibition, as all that have been previously dedicated to Banksy, is not authorized by the artist, who remains anonymous and independent from the system.

Covid-friendly and accessible to all ages

Banksy:Genius or Vandal? has been organized with the highest safety measures in mind and respecting social distance. The exhibition takes place in a spacious venue and is suitable for the general public including families, school groups, couples and the elderly. All spaces have been created taking into account the new social distancing rules.

Passionate about art: stop everything! It's official, the Belgian capital is hosting “Banksy: Genius or Vandal?”, The new interactive exhibition dedicated to the famous and enigmatic British artist. The experience is designed as an immersion in the mysterious universe of the Bristol street artist and offers a unique journey through more than 70 authenticated works on loan from private collectors from all over the world. The exhibition offers a unique Virtual Reality experience that gives a new dimension to the artist's works and takes you on a multisensory journey to the heart of the work of the mysterious master of the streets, of which no one is indifferent.

No, Banksy does not authorize any exhibition of his works. The exhibition presents original, authenticated and certified works belonging to an international private collection. Authenticated works are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Can we buy the works during the exhibition?

No, the works belong to a private collection and are not for sale. However, a shop will be accessible with catalogs and other items related to the exhibition.

Will the exhibit be available in multiple languages?

Yes, Flemish, English, French.

Will audio guides be available on site?

A free self-service audio guide will be available on site through this link (also available at the entrance). For health and safety reasons, please bring and use your own headphones. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of Banksy! If you can't access the link don't worry, you’ll be guided through the exhibition by written information.

What is an acceptable proof of vaccination?

EU Digital COVID Certificate, an original, digital photograph, or photocopy of Vaccination Card (both sides)

Do I have to wear a mask?

Every person aged 16 years old and more need a valid Covid Safe Ticket to access this experience. Face masks are mandatory for persons aged 6 years old and more. You can read the safety measures for this event here.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Yes ! Provided that these are not taken with a flash. Please feel free to share your photos and videos on Instagram by mentioning the exhibition account (@banksy.expo). When taking photos, be sure not to disturb other visitors. Professional equipment and tripods are not allowed.
